It all starts with your choice to act instead of looking away. There are two different opportunities for those who are looking to aid in our mission: Volunteering and Fostering. Our volunteers have numerous avenues available to assist Blue Ridge Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. Whether photography is your passion, interacting with animals is your desire or helping with marketing pieces and stories, simply contact us to volunteer / foster and become part of the Blue Ridge Rescue Family!
Animal Care
Adoption Events
Animal Care and/or Foster
Animal interaction with humans, other animals and new experiences are what help a rescue animal grow, learn and develop! We are looking for people to give a few hours, days or foster until adoption to help the animals in the program become ready to find their Forever Families!
Adoption Event
Includes talking to the public, handling animals for adoption, set up and break down of adoption area.
